COVID

  • "Hit & Run” events are for FULLY VACCINATED members and guests only. By completing a registration form you acknowledge you are able to produce certification if required whilst at the Tennis Venues and agree to abide by the current NSW Health Public Health Orders imposed at the time of play.

REGISTER & PAY

  • Registrations for morning competitions close 2 days PRIOR to the event.
  • Registrations for evening competitions close 1 day PRIOR to the event.
  • Registrations will only be accepted with full payment.

  • Registration must be completed by all players. BOTH Doubles participants must have a valid registration to be included in the draw. Please enter your doubles partner's name in "additional comments"
  • Late entries will not be accepted.
  • Members registering early get first priority for matches where numbers exceed places.

PLAY DETAILS

  • Sign in and warm up commences up to 15min prior to first set. Daytime matches start promptly at 9:30am and evening matches at 7:30pm for each event.
  • A round robin format will be organised with divisions created at the discretion of the organiser immediately following the close of registrations for the event.
  • Games won are totalled with the division winner decided by total number of won games, then total number of sets and, if a draw, via a 10 point super tie breaker.
  • First serve is to be tossed for at the start of each new set. Receiver to choose the end to receive.
  • Games at deuce will be decided by sudden death with the receiver choosing the side [Deuce/advantage] to start the last point.
  • New balls will be provided for each competition and are allocated to courts for play.
  • Order of play is determined by the organiser with results reported to organiser upon completion.
  • Small prizes will be awarded to the winners in each division at the completion of the session.
  • The organiser assumes the role of referee with disputes resolved as quickly as possible.
  • “Off court” time is expected to be minimal for the duration of the 2 hour event. Matches are to commence immediately on announcement. Delays between rubbers have a flow on effect and impacts timing for EVERYONE. Be ready to play.
